Death Knight’s Crowd Control

This macro works as great crowd control and uses only one frost rune. Press it twice in a row as fast as possible; your target will fly up into the air and slowly float back down again. It can then be attacked while in the air. This macro is more effective the further away you are from your target. This can be used almost constantly with the Unholy Command and can be used on most mobs.

Spell Interrupt

/cast Strangulate
/cast Mind Freeze

This macro allows you to interrupt a spellcast with the use of only one buttin, without worrying about what is on cooldown. It casts Strangulate but if it is on cooldown, Mind Freeze is cast instead.

If you are a Blood Elf Death Knight, you can add Arcane Torrent to the macro for three interrupts in one button. Make sure you are close enough to hit the target with Arcane Torrent’s AoE effect.

Runner Stopper

Similar to the previous macro in that it requires only on button press without worrying about your cooldowns, this allows you to stop a target in its tracks. If Death Grip is on cooldown, Chains of Ice will be cast instead.

Death Coil - Damage and Heal (Alt)

/cast [nomodifier] Death Coil; [modifier:alt,target=pet] Death Coil

Save space with this alt macro for Deathcoil. Casts a standard Death Coil with no modifier pressed down, but with alt held down, uses Death Coil on your pet rather than your target for healing instead of damage.

Pull and Stun

/cast Death Grip
/cast Gnaw

If you have specced into Master of Ghouls, this handy macro will pull your target towards you and then have your ghoul stun it, all on one button.
