Raid attunement refers to the process of gaining permanent access to a raid. Many of the raid in World of Warcraft require, or required, you to complete a quest or obtain a certain item to allow entrance. The term attunement originates from one of the first quests created for allowing raid entrance: Attunement to the Core - for Molten Core. Having changed hands many times over the generations, the Black Temple is now the fortress-citadel of Illidan Stormrage, Lord of Outland. As of Patch 2.4, the attunement requirement will be removed but the quest remains in order to get the [Medallion of Karabor] as well as the title “Hand of A’dal”.

The Eye is the inner palace of Tempest Keep in Netherstorm and stronghold of the “Sun King”, Kael’thas Sunstrider. In-game, it is known simply as “Tempest Keep”. Attunement if no longer required for this raid as of patch 2.1.2, but the chain remains in-game and must be completed along with the raid attunement for Serpentshrine Cavern to obtain the title of “Champion of the Naaru”.

Serpentshrine Cavern is the raid wing of Coilfang Reservoir, where Lady Vashj has made her lair. It is a 25-man raid instance with six bosses, culminating with Lady Vashj herself. Attunement if no longer required for this raid as of patch 2.1.2, but the chain remains in-game and must be completed along with the raid attunement for The Eye to obtain the title of “Champion of the Naaru”.

Karazhan is located in southern Deadwind Pass, a small area that connects Duskwood to the Swamp of Sorrows. It is a ten-man level 70 raid instance, opened in The Burning Crusade expansion. In order to enter Karazhan, you must possess The Master’s Key. This guide provides a step-by-step description of the steps required to obtain this key.

Please find below a list of the latest changes to the 2.4 Patch, which is currently live on the PTR:

General

• Resilience: Now reduces the magnitude of mana draining effects by the same amount that it reduces critical strike damage. The Tooltip has been revised to reflect this.
• The Daily Quest limit has been increased to 25.
• The benefits of drinking out of combat have been delayed. It will now take five seconds before the full benefit of the mana regeneration will come into effect.

Frequent use of stolen credit cards to pay for World of Warcraft subscription has prompted UK bank Halifax to block payments to the game’s publisher, Blizzard Entertainment.

In a statement, the bank said its decision to block payments was not a reflection of the integrity of Blizzard or its billing systems.
