While the tower of Karazhan glowers down at the blighted terrain of Deadwind Pass, the wizards of the Violet Eye stand guard. Medivh?s deeds have left a dark stain on the tower and secrets lurk within the confines of this seemingly abandoned structure. For those brave and skilled enough to venture within to confront the legacy of one of Azeroth?s most notorious villains, the sect of the Violet Eye offers its eternal gratitude… and one or two tokens of appreciation.

After two months of fierce Arena Tournament competition, the second qualification round has arrived. Blizzard have invited the eligible participants from the qualifying teams and notified them of their chance to advance in the tournament. Good luck to everyone participating, and to those not eligible the best of luck trying to qualify next time!

A year and a half ago, Blizzard hosted the first “BlizzCon,” a convention celebrating the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo game universes and the amazing community of players who contribute to their continued popularity. Today, Blizzard announced that BlizzCon will once again open its doors on August 3, 2007.

The Kurenai are a group of Broken who have escaped the grasp of their various slavers in Outland. They recently took possession of Telaar, a town in the far south of Nagrand. Unlike many other Broken, the Kurenai are trying their best to overcome their demonic taint. Nevertheless, despite their noble intent, the Kurenai are cautious toward all outsiders, who sometimes mistake the Kurenai for their wretched brethren…

The picturesque town of Halaa in Nagrand, and the Bone Wastes of Terokkar Forest are areas of struggle for supremacy between Horde and Alliance, allowing players to battle for control of these zones and gain an advantage for their entire faction. However, this is not the only reward for the diligence and skill of these PvP players, and you can read more about what other rewards are available at our Nagrand and Bone Wastes pages.

In order to further improve the functionality of the site, we have made the following changes:

• Added “number of views” to Guides.
• Added “top rated guides” to right sidebar.
• Added “most viewed guides” to right sidebar.
• Added “most rated guides” to right sidebar.
• Added “Top Rated Guides” in each category, e.g. in the “Professions” category you will see a list of all Profession Guides ordered by rating.
• Added News Archive. We received feedback that the ability to view older news items was useful.
